Thanks to our generous donors, the mammography areas at Community Regional and Clovis Community have been remodeled. Two of the new machines at the Marjorie E. Radin Breast Care Center can perform contrast-enhanced mammograms for advanced diagnostic imaging. Community will be the first in the Valley to offer this cutting-edge technology.
The first in the Valley to offer contrast-enhanced mammography technology
Multiple donors made this incredible upgrade possible, including Living Legacy Foundation, Radin Foundation and Physician Network Advantage.“We are the only site in the Central Valley to offer this [contrast-enhanced 3D mammography] and one of only a handful in the entire state of California,” said radiologist Christopher Czaplicki. “The fact that we now have this incredible technology available to patients who need it is just really exciting.”
Presidents Club, supporters of the annual Valley Pink Patch fundraiser and Community employee donors also contributed to this project.
“Patients in need of this type of advanced breast imaging will no longer have to travel outside the Valley. They can now receive the care they need close to home,” said Katie Zenovich, SVP, Development and External Affairs.
